Ōiso (大磯町, Ōiso-machi) is a Japanese town in Kanagawa Prefecture on the island of Honshū.
History
[change | change source]In the Edo period, Ōiso-juku was 8th of the 53 shogunate-maintained waystations (shuku-eki) along the Tōkaidō road which connected Edo and Kyoto.[1]
