The soundtrack entered at number one on the Billboard 200 album chart, making Gaga the first female artist to earn five number-one albums in the 2010s decade.[11]

The movie received many awards, including a Best Original Song Golden Globe Award and Academy Award ("Oscar") in the same category for the single "Shallow".[12][13] At the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards, Gaga also won Best Performance in a Movie for her role.[14]
