Bacterial meningitis is meningitis caused by bacteria. It is almost always fatal without antibiotics.
Symptoms of bacterial meningitis

- Seizures
- Altered mental status (including changes in attention)
- Stiff neck
- Headache
- Emesis
- Bulging fontnalles
Treatment
