Bruce French (July 4, 1945 – February 7, 2025) was an American actor. His career began in 1974 and he retired in 2012. He was best known for his role as Father Lonigan on the NBC daytime drama Passions, appearing in over four hundred episodes between 1999 and 2008.

French died on February 7, 2025 from problems caused by Alzheimer's disease in Los Angeles, California at the age of 79.[1]
