Description1908 postcard of tip-seeking workers.png
English: Embossed postcard reads "This place is a PALM GARDEN" (pun on the "palm" tree). Bad puns were typical humor for the period. It shows the tip-seeking service people a traveller would encounter: a caddy, a porter, a waiter, a driver, and a maid/housekeeper. Back is divided and postmarked 1909-09-07. It reads, "This is one reason why I can't leave Atlantic City."
