Description

Insignia for the US Navy squadron VF-31 the fighting "Tomcatters". The second oldest Navy fighter squadron, tracing their history back to VF-1B Shooting Stars in July of 1935.

The Tomcatters incorporated the character of Felix the Cat in their insignia.
