In case you missed it, in March, at Louisville's African American Heritage Center, Lt. Gen. Patricia Horoho, the Army surgeon general and commanding general, U.S. Army Medical Command, delivered a speech on Army Medicine's transformation from a healthcare system to a system focused more on an individual's wellness. The speech was delivered as part of a healthy air, water and soil exhibit that Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, also participated in as part of a four day visit to the U.S. Horoho and Prince Charles also attended a round table at the Big 4 Bridge in the city to discuss "Connecting Human Health and The Health of the Planet." The talks detailed how work and activities are all interconnected and how they intersect with human health and the health of the community. The event was attended by Kentucky's Governor Steve Beshear, Louisville's Mayor Greg Fisher and other key community leaders. Photo by Andre Butler
