Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes)
Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes) is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. It was created by Keith Giffen, John Rogers, and Cully Hamner.[1] The character made his first appearance in Infinite Crisis #3 (February 2006).

Fictional character biography
[change | change source]Jaime Reyes is the third character to become Blue Beetle. He was revealed to be alien in origin. Though only a teenager, Reyes quickly forms a working relationship with Kord's former teammate and best friend Booster Gold and is added into the Teen Titans.
In other media
[change | change source]Xolo Maridueña plays Reyes in the DC Extended Universe movie Blue Beetle (2023). Maridueña will officially reprise the role as Jaime Reyes in an upcoming animated television series set in the DC Universe (DCU) franchise.
