The Kia EV3 is a subcompact Crossover SUV made by Kia since 2024.
History and Features
[change | change source]The Kia EV3 was previewed by the Kia EV3 concept car shown in October 2023 during Kia's EV Day event.[8] later it was shown at the LA Auto Show in November.[9] the production version was shown in May 2024 with sales starting in South Korea in July.[10] its the fourth model at Kia's EV line of electric cars.
The EV3 chassis is derived from the front-wheel-drive Hyundai-Kia K3 platform the body structure was redesigned for electric cars with Kia selling it as the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) 400 V architecture it has a electric motor with 150 kW (201 hp) and a range of up to 600 km (373 mi).
