Respect is a 2021 American biographical drama movie directed by Liesl Tommy. It will be based on the life of singer Aretha Franklin. It stars Jennifer Hudson in the leading role. Forest Whitaker, Marlon Wayans, Audra McDonald, Queen Latifah, Marc Maron, Tituss Burgess, Tate Donovan, and Mary J. Blige also star.

The movie is scheduled to be released in the United States on August 13, 2021.[1]
