UK Dance Singles and Albums Charts

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
(Redirected from UK Dance Singles Chart)

The UK Dance Singles Chart and the UK Dance Albums Chart are music charts made in the United Kingdom by the Official Charts Company from the number of sales of songs in the dance music genre (e.g. house, trance, drum and bass, garage, synthpop) in record stores and digital downloads. The chart can be viewed on BBC Radio 1's and Official Charts Company's website. The list on the Official Charts Company website goes all the way back to 3 July 1994.[1]

Downloads and streams became allowed on the Dance Album and Singles Chart in June 2009. Before that, only vinyl and CD sales were put together into the chart.

The Dance Singles and Album Charts contains a list of 40 songs or albums.
