Velocity and speed[change source]
Velocity and speed are not the same thing in physics or engineering.
If you talk about velocity you must give it a direction as well as speed.
The formula velocity = distance / time is wrong. Speed = distance / time.
The pages is about speed, not velocity.
These pages talk about the difference between speed and velocity.
