Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir (born 4 October 1965) is an Icelandic politician. She has been chairwoman of the Liberal Reform Party since 2017.[1] Þorgerður was deputy chairwoman of the Independence Party from 2005 to 2010.
Þorgerður was the Minister of Education, Science and Culture from 31 December 2003 to 1 February 2009. She left the Independence Party in 2016 and joined the newly founded Reform Party. She was Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture in 2017.
In December 2024, she became the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
