"12 Bar Original" is an instrumental by English rock band the Beatles. It was recorded in November 1965 at the same time as the songs on the band's 1965 album Rubber Soul.[1] It was recorded just after the song "What Goes On".[2] It wasn't released until the band's 1996 compilation album Anthology 2.[3] It was written by all four of the Beatles: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr.[4]
