The 300 meters event at the 1922 Women's World Games took place in Paris at the Stade Pershing on 20 August 1922. The heats took place during the morning session and the final during the afternoon session.[1][2]

British Mary Lines won the final in a time of 44.8 seconds, ahead of the British Alice Cast and French Germaine Darreau[a].[3]

The heats consisted of two series, where best two athletes of each heat continued to the final.[1]

a The French Athletics Federation states that Germaine Darreau finished third,[4] and is also indicated (as G. Darreau) in the 1922 newspaper Le Journal.[3] However the British Athletics Federation states that her twin sister Andrée Darreau finished in third place.[5]
