A Quiet Place: Day One is an American apocalyptic horror movie written and directed by Michael Sarnoski, based on a story co-developed with John Krasinski. The movie is a spin-off prequel and is also the third entry in the A Quiet Place series, which was first released in 2018 and was followed by a sequel in 2021.[3][4]

Production

In November 2020, Paramount Pictures announced a spin-off movie set within the same world as A Quiet Place (2018), with Jeff Nichols set to write and direct, based on a story by John Krasinski. The movie is a co-production between Platinum Dunes and Sunday Night Productions, with Michael Bay, Andrew Form, Brad Fuller, and Krasinski producing.[5]
