Albert I (Albert Honoré Charles Grimaldi; 13 November 1848 – 26 June 1922) was Prince of Monaco from 10 September 1889 until his death in 1922. While he was prince, he also focused on oceanography, exploration and science.[1]

Albert died on 26 June 1922 in Paris, France, and was succeeded by his son, Louis II.
