Alessia Mia Teresa Russo (Italian: [aˈlɛssja ˈmia teˈrɛza ˈrusso]; born 8 February 1999),[2] is a professional football player from England. She plays as a defender for Arsenal and also represents the England national team. Before joining Arsenal, she played for Chelsea, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Manchester United. During her college years, she played soccer for North Carolina Tar Heels. She has also played for various youth teams representing England in international competitions.
