Archbishop Alexander (Russian: Александр Геннадьевич Ищеин; June 13, 1952 – June 10, 2021) was an Azerbaijani prelate. He was the archbishop of Russian Orthodox diocese of Baku and Azerbaijan from 1999 until his death in 2021.
He died on June 10, 2021 from COVID-19 in Baku, Azerbaijan.[1][2]
