Allobates masniger is a frog. It lives in Brazil.[2][3][1]
Home
[change | change source]This frog lives in Amazon rainforests that are not too high above sea level. It can live in forestst that were never cut down and in forests that are growing back. Scientists have seen the frog 100 meters above sea level.[1]
Many of the places where this frog lives are in protected parks, for example Parque Nacional da Amazônia and Floresta Nacional de Pau-Rosa.[1]
Young
[change | change source]The female frog lays eggs on land. After the eggs hatch, the adult frogs carry the tadpoles to streams, where they swim and grow.[1]
Danger
[change | change source]Scientists say this frog is not in danger of dying out. In some places, there are fires. In some places, people cut down trees to get wood to build with.[1]
