Andrew Graham Beshear (born November 29, 1977) is an American politician and attorney serving as the 63rd governor of Kentucky since 2019. He was the 50th attorney general of Kentucky from 2016 to 2019. He is a member of the Democratic Party. He is the son of Steve Beshear, the 61st governor of Kentucky.

Beshear was elected as attorney general in 2015. He was the Democratic nominee for governor in the 2019 election.[1] He beat incumbent Governor Matt Bevin on November 5, 2019 by less than 5,000 votes.[2]

Beshear was reelected to a second term in 2023 by a larger margin of 5%,[3] becoming only the fourth incumbent governor in Kentucky history to win a second consecutive term.
