Anita Anand PC MP (born 1967) is a Canadian lawyer and politician. She is the minister of national defence since 2021. She has represented the riding of Oakville in the House of Commons since 2019. She is a member of the Liberal Party.

She is the first Indian Canadian of a Hindu background to become a federal minister in Canada.[3][4]
