The Arbegnoch, was an Ethiopian Anti-fascism Resistance movement in World War II that existed from 1936-1941.

In 1937, the Ethiopian empire fell to the Kingdom of Italy and became apart of the Italian colony in East Africa (along with Italian Eritrea and Italian Somaliland).

In 1941, the colony collapsed after the East African campaign ended with an Allied victory and the Ethiopian Empire was restored.
