Balabhaskar

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Balabhaskar Chandran (10 July 1978 – 2 October 2018) was an Indian violinist, composer and record producer. He was born in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. He was best known for promoting fusion music in South India.[1][2]

He had composed the soundtrack for the Malayalam movie Mangalya Pallakku, and was the youngest music composer to have worked in the industry.[2] His compositions for the albums Ninakaai and Aadyamai are still among the most-sought-after romantic song collections.

He won the Bismillah Khan Yuva Sangeetkaar Puraskaar[3] in 2008.

Balabhaskar died on 2 October 2018 of a heart attack caused by injuries from a car crash he suffered a week earlier, aged 40.[4]vshdhsa<html>
