Barry Nathaniel Malzberg (July 24, 1939 – December 19, 2024) was an American science fiction writer and editor. His best known works were The Falling Astronauts, Beyond Apollo, In the Stone House and Final War.

Malzberg died at his home in Saddle River, New Jersey on December 19, 2024 from problems caused by pneumonia, aged 85.[1][2]
