The Battle of Quebec was a battle between the Continental Army and the British Army in 1775. It was part of a failed attempt by the Continental Army to capture the city of Quebec during the American Revolutionary War.[1]

The British won the battle. It was the first major loss for the Continental Army. More than 400 soldiers were taken prisoner.[2] Multiple officers of the Continental Army were also wounded or killed, including Richard Montgomery and Benedict Arnold.
