Black Cat (Felicia Hardy) is an anti-superheroine from the Marvel Comics universe, appearing as a supporting character in the Spider-Man franchise and the main protagonist of her titular comics. She was created by Marv Wolfman and the late Dave Cockrum, and first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #194 in July of 1979.

[change | change source]She occasionally acts as a love interest, enemy and ally to Spider-Man. She is a professional cat burglar who often runs into Spider-Man, but sometimes acts as an ally in certain situations. Despite her villainous side, Black Cat has worked with other superheroes to stop threats and supervillains. She is also among the most well-known love interests of Spider-Man, alongside Mary-Jane Watson and Gwen Stacy.
