Robert Gilliland Beckel[1] (November 15, 1948 – February 21, 2022) was an American political analyst and pundit. He was a former analyst and commentator on Fox News. He co-hosted The Five until he was released in 2015. Beckel later became a commentator for CNN. In 2017, he returned to Fox News as a co-host of The Five.[2] A few months later, he was fired after he was accused of making a racist comment against an employee.[3]
Beckel died on February 21, 2022, at the age of 73.[4]
