Borongan Airport

Borongan Airport is an airport in the town of Borongan and the only operating airport in the province of Eastern Samar.
History
[change | change source]In September 2008, Borongan Airport was opened by leader Ben Evardone. The first flight landed on the middle of September 2, 2008.
In December 2022, Representative Marcelino Libanan had a meeting with Transport Secretary about the expansion of the airport.
In June 19, 2023, The Government of Borongan opened a new space to people. [1]
