Brian Hastings

Brian Frederick Hastings (23 March 1940 – 7 October 2024) was a New Zealand former cricketer who played 31 tests and 11 one-day internationals between 1969 and 1976. He also played for Wellington, Central Districts and Canterbury in the Plunket Shield. He is the father of New Zealand cricketer Mark Hastings. Hastings was born in Island Bay, Wellington.

Hastings died at a retirement home in Papanui, New Zealand on 7 October 2024, at the age of 84.[1][2]
