Byker Grove is a British television show which aired from 1989 to 2006. It was created by writer Adele Rose and producer Andrea Wonfor. The show came on at 5:10pm after Newsround but it later moved to 5pm on CBBC on BBC One. The show was for older teenagers and young adults. The show sometimes had serious and controversial stories.
