Catanduanes
Catanduanes, officially the Province of Catanduanes (Filipino: Lalawigan ng Catanduanes), is an island province in the Philippines. It is in the Bicol Region in Luzon. Its capital is Virac. Previously part of Albay province, it gained provincial autonomy on September 26, 1945. Its population was 260,964 people in the 2015 census, covering an area of 3,915 square kilometers.
