Coming to America is a 1988 comedy movie directed by John Landis. It is about an African prince who comes to the United States in hopes of finding a woman he can marry. It stars Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, James Earl Jones, John Amos, Ralph Bellamy, and Don Ameche. It was released on June 29, 1988. A sequel, Coming 2 America, was released in December 2020.
