Comptons of Soho

Comptons of Soho is a gay bar in London. It is on Old Comptons Street, in Soho. It is there since 1986. The building was made in 1890, and first was the Swiss Hotel. Gay people have gone there since at least the 1950s. Comptons is a large, Victorian-style pub with two bars. The ground floor bar is a horse-shoe bar and attracts a varied gay male crowd, including many tourists. Upstairs, there is a lounge area.[1]
