Cripple Creek is a city and county seat of Teller County, Colorado, United States. The city population was 1,155 at the 2020 United States Census.
The town of Cripple Creek formed in the 1890s during a gold rush. By the mid-20th century, most of the mines closed and it became nearly a ghost town. Today, most money in the city comes from casinos.
