Cristina (singer)

Cristina Monet-Palaci (January 17, 1956 – March 31, 2020), better known as Cristina, was an American singer. She is best known for her new wave recordings made for Ze Records around the early 1980s in New York City. Her two studio albums were reissued in 2004. Notable singles by Cristina include "Disco Clone", "Is That All There Is?", "Drive My Car" and "Things Fall Apart".

On March 31, 2020, during the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic, Cristina died of COVID-19. She was 64.[1][2]
