Kinuta

Dadeumi (Korean: 다듬이) or dadeumijil (다듬이질) is a Korean traditional ironing tradition. The washed cloth is placed on a stand in a dry state and beaten on it with a stick to smooth out wrinkles and soften.

In Japan it is called Kinuta (Japanese: ).
