Daniel Díaz Torres (31 December 1948 – 16 September 2013) was a Cuban movie director and screenwriter. He directed sixteen movies between 1975 and 2013. His best known movie was Alice in Wondertown (1991), which gained him international notability.
Díaz Torres died after a long illness on 16 September 2013 in his hometown of Havana. He was 65 years old.[1]
