Dave Anderson

David Poole Anderson (May 6, 1929 – October 4, 2018) was an American sportswriter. He was born in Troy, New York. In 1981 he won a Pulitzer Prize for commentary on sporting events.[1] He was the author of 21 books and more than 350 magazine articles.

Anderson died on October 4, 2018 at the age of 89 in Cresskill, New Jersey from heart failure.[2]
