Dave Bolen

David Benjamin Bolen (December 23, 1923 - December 10, 2022) is an American Olympic track and field athlete, politician and businessman.[1] Bolen was born in Heflin, Louisiana. He was an Ambassador to Botswana, Swaziland, Lesotho and East Germany.[2] His diplomatic career lasted from 1974 until 1980 during the Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter presidencies.
