Dennis F. Kinlaw

Dennis Franklin Kinlaw (June 26, 1922 – April 10, 2017) was an American academic. He was born in Lumberton, North Carolina.
Kinlaw was President of Asbury College from 1968 through 1981 and again from 1986 through 1991 and Chancellor of the school in 1992.
He was a professor of Old Testament Languages and Literature at Asbury Theological Seminary from 1963 through 1968 and a visiting professor at Seoul Theological College, Seoul, South Korea in 1959.
Kinlaw studied at Asbury College and at Brandeis University. He was the founder of the Francis Asbury Society and authored several books. He was married to Elsie Kinlaw until her death in 2003.
Kinlaw died on April 10, 2017 in Wilmore, Kentucky, aged 94.[1]
