Edwin Mosquera

Edwin Orlando Mosquera Roa (26 July 1985 – 2 December 2017) was a Colombian weightlifter. He competed in the 69 kg weight division. He won a silver medal at the 2007 Pan American Games. He also won two gold medals (2008 and 2010) and a silver medal (2016) at the Pan American Weightlifting Championships. He was at the 2008 and 2016 Summer Olympics. He was born in El Carmen de Atrato.

Mosquera died after being shot twice on 2 December 2017 in Palmira, Valle del Cauca. He was 32.[1]
