Ela Křížová (born 10 February 1905) was a Czechoslovak track and field athlete during the early 1920s, during the earliest era of women's athletics.[1] She was specialized in the high jump, but also competed in the 200 metres and shot put. She was a member of SK Morav.Slavia and represented Czechoslovakia at international competitions.

Biography

Křížová was born on 10 February 1905.[2] She became a member of sports club SK Morav.Slavia.[3] She was the best Czhecoslovak high jumper in 1922, with a height of 1.36 metres that she jumped during a competition in Prostejov on 30 July 1922. She was selected to represent Czhecoslovakia at the first 1922 Women's World Games in Paris, France. She competed in the high jump event and finished 5th with a height of 1.32 meters.[3]

In 1923 she competed at the 1923 Czechoslovakia–France women's athletics competition in Brno on 10 May and finished second in the high jump with 1.34 metres, behind the French Lucie Petit.[4] In 1924 she also started competing in the 200 metres and shot put.[2]
