Eldar Kaisynovich Kuliev (December 31, 1951 – January 14, 2017) was a Soviet movie director and screenwriter. He was born in Frunze, in present day Kyrgyz Republic.[1] He was a writer of original script for the TV miniseries The Wounded Stones.[2]

Kuliev died at his home in Moscow, Russia on January 14, 2017, aged 65.
