Gender equality

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gender equality is a belief that both men and women should receive equal treatment. That people should not be discriminated against because of their gender. It can also be called sex equality, gender egalitarianism, sexual equality or equality of the genders.

Gender equality is supported by feminists, humanists and masculinists.[1]
