George Kauffman

George Bernard Kauffman (September 4, 1930 – May 2, 2020) was an American chemist and educator. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Kauffman was a Professor of Chemistry at California State University, Fresno. In 1978, Kauffman was honored with the Dexter Award from the American Chemical Society.[1] He was a Guggenheim Fellow.[2]

Kauffman died on May 2, 2020 at his home in Fresno, California at the age of 89.[3]
