The Glacier Bay water shrew (Sorex alaskanus) is a type of mammal in the family Soricidae. It only lives in Alaska in the United States.[2] It can swim underwater. The water shrew can run on the surface of the water. It eats the nymphs of invertebrates that live in the water. It also eats invertebrates that live on land.
