Glauber de Andrade Rocha (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈglawbeɾ d͡ʒi ɐ̃ˈdɾad͡ʒi ˈʁɔʃɐ]; 14 March 1939 – 22 August 1981), better known as Glauber Rocha, was a Brazilian movie director, actor and screenwriter. He was one of the most important movie directors of Brazilian cinema.
His movies Black God, White Devil and Entranced Earth are thought to be one of the best Brazilian movies ever made.[1]
