Gloria Romero (Tagalog pronunciation: [ɾɔˈmeɾɔ]; born Gloria Galla; December 16, 1933 – January 25, 2025) was an American-born Filipina actress. She was called the "Queen of Philippine Cinema" in the 1950s. She acted in Tanging Yaman, Nagbabagang Luha and Dalagang Ilocana. She played Imelda Marcos in the biopic movie Iginuhit ng Tadhana.[1]

Romero died on January 25, 2025 in Quezon City, Philippines after experiencing low blood pressure at the age of 91.[2] She was hospitalized a month before her death because of malnutrition and dehydration.[3]
