Greater Houston

Greater Houston, designated by the United States Office of Management and Budget as Houston–Pasadena–The Woodlands,[1] is the fifth-most populous metropolitan statistical area in the United States. It is made up of ten counties along the Gulf Coast in Southeast Texas. With a population of 7.1 million people as of the 2020 census and over 7.5 million in 2023, Greater Houston is the second-most populous in Texas after the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.[2]
